Changelings

Changelings are wix who have inherited the favour of being able to alter their appearance at will.

The ability extends to changing one's physical appearance within one's original human shape and size. They can don a different face, change their hair colour, or conceal scars and injuries. Drastic structural changes to do with height and build would require more time - a matter of hours or days instead of seconds and minutes.

Although a Changeling might conceal an injury by 'growing' skin over it, the injury will still have to heal in the regular way or through craft.

The longer a Changeling wears a certain face, the more likely it will become their comfortable default appearance. Some may even forget their original appearance as a result.
