Bog men

Also known as Straw Man and other similar slang, depending on local folklore.

Bog men are Caliban who were imperfectly made or abandoned, or otherwise not developing true consciousness after their creator's death. They are susceptible to corruption and go rogue, often attacking mindlessly or to satisfy a base animalistic hunger.

Due to the way in which Caliban are grown - from the heart of a sacrificed child - bog men are said to be drawn to the presence of children.

These rotted Caliban are feared but very few people have seen one in-person. To many, bog men are simply fairy tales told to wix children as a warning of the betwixt's dangers.

Bog men possess all the strength and resistance of a Caliban. They are notoriously difficult to kill.
